These sisters devote several hours of their day to prayer and active apostolic work. Many of the youth and staff from our schools were fascinated by the joy that these sisters demonstrate. While many were afraid to ask serious questions about religious life during the question period, many ran up to the sisters afterwards and asked them rather deep questions regarding vocation discernment. One student asked a sister if they always "had to wear their habit". The sister replied that she was overjoyed that she always "gets to wear it". It was an honour and not a burden because the habit is an outward manifestation of an inward consecration to Almighty God.
May God continue to bless these sisters with an abundance of heavenly graces. Their love for the Lord Jesus Christ and His One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church shines through their words and presence.
This weekend, our parish will have a diaper drive for the babies of mothers helped by the Sisters of Life Outreach Centre. Please be generous!
