Thank you for your interest in volunteering in feeding the poor of Toronto. You must email [email protected] to register your attendance to go on Saturday Feb 25^th, 2012. Once you have registered, please read the following instructions for the day's schedule and events:

Just to answer some questions that you may have:
The school bus holds 48 people. The street patrol mission for St. Clare parish is directed for the youth (youth event) in order to do some community hours and charity work. We do not encourage parents to accompany their children on the bus or by driving down. This causes too much confusion in organizing the groups. However, we do have four Knights of Columbus adults and other adult leaders who have been leading the Street Patrol for many years. We lead the groups in the downtown area. The area we go is planned out and a safe environment. We always stay together in the assigned group and do regular head counts. In our groups we visit homeless shelters and people on the street and offer them a prepared lunch.

Please bring a large backpack or a duffle bag. Dress accordingly. Care packages (bagged lunch) will be given at the church on Saturday. You don't need to bring any food for the poor, but if you like you can bring socks, sweaters and hats.
